Wastewater Treatment System with Daf Method
DAF (Dissolved Air Flotation) Method, which is called Dissolved Air Flotation in Turkish, is the purification of water by flotation method of substances whose density is lower than water and which are undesirable in the water. Thanks to the high pressure given to the Daf System, the air bubbles formed in the water and the flocs caught on the surface come to the surface. The compressed air supplied is obtained by the pressure tank. Thanks to the scraper in the system, the flocks are transferred from the water surface to the waste collection chamber. Thus, substances weighing more than water sink to the bottom of the tank.
Treatment in the Marble Industry
The Marble Industry is one of the industries that need the water most. ‘That is, a medium-sized marble factory uses 5000 liters of water per minute.’ In addition, all the machines in the marble factories need high amounts of water. For this reason, Water Treatment is one of the most important issues in the marble industry.
What did we do in our project?
Using the Daf System, we treated liters of wastewater used in the Marble Industry Factories.
